Arrived in Columbus at 8:40pm (5 minutes early but a bumpy flight) Picked up rental car and took off for Mt.Vernon, OH by way of State Rte. 62 (Johnstown Rd.). Decided to stop in the little town of New Albany at a nice little pizza shop (Eagle Pizza). Placed our order and sat down to eat and I remembered that my father had a cousin that had a pizza shop in New Albany. Just for the heck of it, I asked the server who the owner was. She told me it was her husband Dennis Keesee. I ask if he was related to Tom Keesee and she said Tom was his father. I told her I thought that Dennis and I were cousins and she went in the office and Dennis followed her out to meet Heather and I. He sat down with us and we had a very nice talk. Turns out that he is somewhat of an expert on the Cival War and has written books and travels all over the country on lectures. Very nice people so we exchanged e-mails and took off for Mt.Vernon. FYI, My father's mother's sister is his grandmother. She was my "Greataunt Catherine. I guess that makes us 3rd cousins. Small world!

Did you have to put Tim's ugly mug at the beginning of the blog? you want to to keep people interested not scare them away.
Also I can't wait for the pictures from the strip / dance club from the visit you guys make to the no street light town near Millwood. Should be some real winners there!!!
Hey that brother named "Paul" looks a little hispanic to me, did Sharon have any hispanic landscapers 44 years ago?
That picture of the kids helping Bob push the luggage up Tim's driveway "mountain".... what a dangerous place for the kids to be given the "Overly" in Bob's last name.
We are known for a few things and "Gastridous" is one of them.
There must be some way to block Jesse from commenting while alowing others
Negatory my good man....
Freedom of the Internet and Freedom of speech not including that no one else has posted anything yet so we have to keep it lively.
This is way to techie for Tim and Paul is still looking for a high chair to reach the keyboard!!!
Dave
I notices you have 142 profile reviews and I have 2.... you must be one wanted man... how do you do it?
I only have two because I went back and reviewed mine twice (I have no friends and family claims to see me enough as it is.
Where is Uncle Jim????
Beuhler..... Beuhler.... Beuhler???
I need some more wry humor here.... he is the king!!!
Hey Bob and Heather, I am so jealous....you look like you two are having so much fun and you're away from this awful heat in Arizona. I want you to plan my next vacation.
Can we not snap a few pictures of the Canadian Women they are as pretty as the water falls???
I always knew Bob had a little feministic qualities to like "butterflies and flowers".... what a girl!!!
She is ruining you up there... run!!!
I know you two have to be in shock with all that water in one day....Arizona could only dream of that much water in one year compared to one day up there!
Hi Leslie.....
I have not seen you in along time, How are you doing?
What have you been up to?
Ok... Ok....
Someone tell me who Leslie is!!!
BTW Bob....
On a serious note (for we all know that "Serious" is my middle name)
You really look like Dad!!!
Freaky...but good.
Wait... Wait...
I got it!!!
Leslie is Uncle Jim's screen name....
Very created Uncle Jim!!!
It fooled me.
Dad and "Mama" Heather,
Happy Anniversary to you two! Hope you are enjoying your "honeymoon"! The boys and I are enjoying all the pics! Love you guys!
Montreal.... I love Montreal!!!
I went there for some business training and that has to be the best "city" to walk around.
If you guys get a chance try some Puntene and a Smoked Meat Sandwich.
(Puntene is French Fries, Gravy and curdled cheese on top - yes not healthy but very good) the Smoke Meat Sandwich is sort of like a Reuben Sandwich without the saurkraut. (not healthy again but good)
Nice photos... and it brings back old memories.
(I do plan to take Lisa (my wife) there soon)
Enjoy!!!!
